FHA / HUD
Carmen Capital’s executives have extensive market expertise and a wealth of financial knowledge. With over $1 billion worth of closed loans under section 223(f), 223(a)(7), and 221(d)(4), our team maintains close relationships with the Department of Housing and Urban Development headquarters and LEAN specialists.
USDA
Carmen Capital supports development and rehabilitation of low income housing in rural areas. Through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Section 538 Loan Programs, Carmen Capital assists in providing financing for new construction or substantial rehabilitation for multifamily and senior housing rental units in towns with less than 25,000 people.
Affordable Housing
Carmen Capital’s expert team has a comprehensive knowledge of both the 4% and 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs, which are used to finance the construction and restoration of affordable rental housing. Carmen Capital’s team works closely with borrowers, HUD, and various other local finance agencies to see each transaction to completion.
